Version 1.2.1 has been released, targeting one bug that affects both v1.1 and v1.2. The issue was with systems configured for certain non-English/US locales, where the NetPoint license file would appear to expire early. This is specifically related to locales whose dates do not appear as MM/DD/YYYY by default. If this bug affects you, you'll see an error message from NetPoint in the Application section of the Event Log stating the license file expired.
You don't need to upgrade from v1.2 unless this issue affects you, as there aren't any new features.
If you're upgrading from v1.2, perform the following steps:
1) Uninstall v1.2.
2) Download v1.2.1.
3) Run the setup as normal, except do not check the Create NetPoint database checkbox.
If you're upgrading from v1.1, please do the following:
1) Uninstall v1.1 and its SQL Server 2000 or MSDE database.
2) Install SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2005 Express following the instructions on the FAQ page.
3) Download v1.2.1 and run the setup as normal. Make sure you check the Create NetPoint database checkbox.
